The littlest Tougas refusing to make an appearance yet!

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the absence of updates in the bump gallery (for those of you who have been nagging us- Jeannie!) but we hadn’t been putting any up because there has been NO CHANGE AT ALL! Very disappointing and I was starting to worry that the baby wasn’t growing but I had an appointment on Thursday at the doctor and we heard the heartbeat again and all is well. So we will put up the last couple of weeks soon, but don’t get too excited because it is not very interesting just yet.

I started my new summer job yesterday. I am working on Fridays for Royal Caribbean.  Yesterday we disembarked over 2000 passengers and got them on the appropriate coach, train or rental car and then embarked over 2000 passengers later that day. It was pretty interesting. Otherwise I am busy working in our ‘garden.’ I am currently trying to make our gravel and weed pit into lawn. So the first step is digging up all the weeds and putting down a layer of sand. I hadn’t realized just how big our yard was until I started weeding it! Never mind, it will be worth it next year when we have a beautiful big lawn for the littlest Tougas to learn to crawl on.  I will put some photos up to show the progress I am making so you can be impressed when you see the before and after photos!

Hope everyone is well. We are enjoying getting your comments and emails and I will get onto replying to everyone soon.

Love April and Paul

The Cat is Back

Hello Guys.  Our annoying little cat has been gone for three days.  April was worrying about the poor thing and imagining  an eagle flying around with it’s limp, furry, body.  But then it was at the door step making noise like it was our fault for not feeding it! April is much relieved and now her holiday can start in earnest.  Paul

More Moose

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all the nice messages we have received over the last week. It has been fun sharing our good news with you all. Paul has been away this week, first in Seattle with his brother Joe and Dad and he is currently driving a car up through Canada. His Dad bought some more for the rental business and needed them up here in Alaska.

School has been really busy, we only have eight more days with children so a lot is going on. We are away on lots of field trips over the next weeks and so we are busy finishing up the last of projects and work before the summer holiday.

One day at school this week we had moose issues. A moose was hanging around just outside the fence while the children were outside at recess. We nearly had to bring the children inside. But luckily it moved further down the fence away from the playground and so was considered no threat to the children.

Hope everyone is well. Love April and Paul
