Our Baby!!

Yesterday we had the first scan and got to see our little baby for the first time. It was very cool, and everything looked good. It was moving around heaps in there, which is strange since I am still only occasionally feeling little flutters. It is about 14 cm long from the top of its head to its bottom. We chose not to find out the sex so that is still a mystery, have a look at the scan photos and see if you think it looks more masculine or more feminine! We could see its bones, the four chambers of its heart and its brain.

Paul is doing really well this year with his business and he is feeling really positive about it. The new office space seems to be working our really well and looks very professional. Today I painted the walls in our living room and I am pleased with how it looks. I will put some photos up once the furniture is all back in.

Hope everyone is well.

Love April and Paul

Seward Time Lapse

Hello Guys, I have been doing a lot more video for my news project www.sewardcitynews.com. This one is a time laps of 14 hours through the night over the harbor here in Seward, Alaska. Watch for the sun to come up and the cruise ship to arrive at the end. Paul

Update

Hi Everyone,

Things in Seward are going well. We are making good progress on our gardening projects and that is keeping me busy. We still have heaps to do but is it slowly starting to look better. I have started working for the Cruise ship on Fridays. It is going well, today we coordinated the disembarking of over 2000 passengers and checked in another 2000. Paul is getting busier at the Information center and he is enjoying working in his new office space. We are looking forward to our first ultra sound in two weeks. We have decided not to find out the sex of the baby (despite Paul’s best efforts to talk me into finding out!). The baby should be now around five inches long and it is nearly 18 weeks old!

I hope everyone is well.

Love April and Paul

April is getting bigger!

It’s now 16 weeks.
