   So it turns out 9 day old babies don’t really perform for the camera! But we figured the NZ grandparents at least would like to see her move, even if all she does is blink, hiccup, sneeze and cry!
   Sorry you couldn’t open it Judi, you will have to ask Paul what to do about that. When are you and Hailey next planning on coming over so you can see her in the flesh?

   I want to be there right now but…Not sure maybe March or April for a sneak peek of little Isla. Sounds like all is going as normal.. Keep the pics coming- We check the website AT least 5+ times aday..

   Islas Great grandma has just watched the video and comments favourably. We were delighted to see it as we called here after delivering Meals on Wheels in Winton. I was so pleased we had put it on.

   What a beautiful baby girl April, very ‘Macdonald’ looking, which is a good thing by the way. Your parents must feel sooooo far away at the moment but I hear you are having quite the visitors soon so thats awesome.
   Don’t know if I can part with too much in the way of motherly wisdom because all babies are different but I’m sure she will be a good girl and you will get into a routine soon.
   The video is great and prefect for us that can’t see her in person….

    Here I sit in Petaluma, Ca. and I just viewed your site. Virginia Cochran sent it to me. You have a darling new baby. The new “Daddy” looks especially proud. Why is that always true? Sometimes I wonder if they think they had more to do with it than the Mother. Be happy that little Isla is content enough to want to sleep. My only suggestion for night feeding is what I did with Colin when he was a baby, he’s now 49, I mixed pablum into his milk and gave him not quite a teaspoon full of the mixture. That made him sleep a bit longer.

    She’s very cute, was very exciting to be able to watch her and you.We think she sounds like a squeaky toy when she’s hiccuping! haha
