Meeting More Family and the Long Awaited Roll!
We have had a busy few days, Isla especially, who has been passed around many of her New Zealand family. On Saturday and Sunday we had the Macdonald and Dykes relations around for lunches. Since there were 17 the first day and 27 the second it was a lot of cuddles for Isla! Here are just a selection of photos of Isla with various relations.

The first day we arrived into New Zealand Isla rolled from her front to her back and finally on Sunday she rolled over from her back to her front. Stewart and Kathy were luckily there to witness this milestone- I unfortunately didn’t since I had popped out of the room for just a moment and missed it! She hasn’t done either roll since despite much enticement, but I’m sure she will try it again sometime soon- hopefully!

jeannie-we are talking warmer than snow, but no fiji! the weather is about 60F or so, so far it has bin sunny and warm. but always bring a jacket and rain coat! all of us in alaska are x-sided to see you…as well as april and isla. we just cant wait, isla is looking so cute in the pics. tell april to take so picures of her w/ isla and famiy having a good time, just as we know she is!
Hello april, isla and all the NZ family! Rachel just left a msg here, so now it’s my turn. Weather in Seattle has been sunny and warm. We have been swimming in an outdoor pool everyday in a park that we used to take Paul and Melissa to ride bikes and Joe was just about the size Isla is now…many good memories. Sunday is Father’s Day and we’d like to wish all the Fathers in NZ a happy day. We will be celebrating Howie’s 80th birthday at my brother Kris’s house. We have invited many of his friends to an afternoon supper. Later, on his real date, Sep 24, we will celebrate in Alaska with his friends and family there. Our best to you all! Mary, Tom and Rach
